The ECMF group has been awarded a $800k DOE NEUP grant to work on the NGNP Reactor Cavity Cooling System. Our group will collaborate with Prof. Corradini, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The ECMF group is part of the winning team for a $800k DOE NEUP grant focused on the use of high-fidelity multi-physics computational tools for the prediction of hydrides formation and distribution in reactors fuel pins. The work is lead by Penn State University, and will be carried out in collaboration with Idaho National Laboratory.
